1 year old
COCO is a sweet girl who at 1 year old is still very much the pup. She's playful with people and other dogs although they should be of similar size or she can be overbearing. COCO loves to be with people but can be shy at first. Then she's content to be near your when you're active but doesn't need to be in your lap. COCO is not super hyper and will easily relax and lie down wherever you are. She can "sit", "stay" and come when called but that's about it so far as she's not had any formal training yet. She will play fetch endlessly! COCO had two seizures before she came to our rescue that appear to be stress related as one was at the vet and the other at the groomer. She's had no further seizures in the past six weeks she's been with us during which time she had three vet visits and a groom. COCO is stabilized on seizure meds (which are inexpensive) and just had a full neurological exam. It has been noted that the cause of seizures at the groomer is usually caused by the high pitched noise of certain dryers. She must be fan dried at the groomer in the future. The neurologist states that if no further seizures occur during the year she can be slowly weaned off her meds.
COCO needs an owner who will get her Basic Obedience training and take the time and patience to work with her. As a big pup, she needs a lot of exercise plus daily walks for mental stimulation
Her own large fenced yard is a must for playing fetch. No apartments.
No kids to overstimulate her.
