Female Red 7 years old 62 lbs Meet TINA, a beautiful 7-year-old F1 Goldendoodle who has spent much of her life on an Amish farm. Having lived in a barn and raised many puppies, Tina is ready to embrace the comfort and love of a forever home. Tina is a gentle and sweet soul who will likely form a deep bond with one special person in her new home. She has made incredible progress in her foster home, learning how to use a dog door by following her foster siblings and discovering the joys of companionship. Tina thrives in the presence of other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful canine buddy and a large, fenced yard where they can run and play together. Tina's ideal family will need patience and understanding as she continues to adjust to home life. While she doesn’t know basic commands yet, she is eager to learn with praise, encouragement, and consistency. She’s not food motivated, so positive reinforcement or clicker training will be most effective. Tina is house-trained when given regular potty breaks but may still have occasional accidents. A family member who works from home or is home during the day will help her stay on schedule and build her confidence. Although Tina doesn’t enjoy dog beds or crates, she has learned to sleep on the floor beside her foster parents. She is not a barker and is excellent on a leash, walking so calmly behind you that you might forget she’s there! Tina is beginning to explore toys, and showing interest in a tennis ball, and she may learn to enjoy fetch with some gentle guidance. Tina is still working through trust issues and can be skittish at times, especially with new people. She may cower or pull away when approached, but with time, patience, and love, she will grow more comfortable. While she seems to prefer female caregivers, with the right environment and gentle reassurance, Tina has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who has so much love to give and just needs the chance to shine, Tina is waiting for you.
