Female Cream 55 pounds 4 years old TULA is a beautiful, sweet and gentle Standard Poodle. Her first four years were spent in a crate as a puppy mill breeding dog so everything is new to her. She's a little timid when approached by new people or when in new places and her first inclination is to back away. So far, loud noises startle her. TULA is learning how to be a dog in a world full of new experiences and is making remarkable progress! She does well with other dogs and loves to run free with them. She's calm and rarely vocal. She bonds with her people once she's accustomed to them and then is very sweet and affectionate. So far TULA hasn't been exposed to cats, kids or stairs so we don't have any info on that. She is doing well working on her house training. Another dog her size to play with and learn from would be ideal for TULA. She needs a quiet home as too much activity can be overwhelming for her right now. Owners who understand her puppy mill background and have the time and patience to work with and get training for her would be best.
