Male Black and White 6 years old 62 lbs Meet JAX, a loving and gentle boy who craves attention, security, and structure. Jax adores people and finds comfort in being close to them. With his excellent house manners and love for cuddles, he would be a fantastic addition to a home that can provide him with the companionship he needs. He’s also a great walking or jogging buddy. Jax knows the basics commands like sit, and paw, and has good recall. With continued positive reinforcement, he’s eager and ready to learn even more skills. He’s good with small dogs and is curious about cats. Jax is a vocal boy, especially when excited, and he’ll alert you to strangers, mail carriers, and trash trucks. However, he’s also a great listener and settles down quickly after his initial excitement. When meeting new dogs on walks, if they get excited, he might get a bit excited too, but he’s just eager to make new friends. Jax’s ideal forever home would be a “low-key” environment with someone who is home more often than not. He’s very good when left alone, with no accidents in the house, but because he’s been moved around a bit in his life, he can be a bit anxious with change and new faces. During the transition to his forever home, Jax might be a little nervous and seek comfort by staying close to his person. He may also have a reduced appetite during this time, though he’ll still happily take treats. Jax is a sweet, loving dog who is ready to find his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and secure.
